Podcast Launch! Biodiversity Impact

Today, I am beyond delighted to launch a brand-new podcast: Biodiversity Impact!

It has taken me some time to build up the courage to do this, and I’ve had so much help along the way. One of the greatest joys of my work is meeting people and hearing their stories. Their passion, creativity, and determination never fail to inspire me, and it is that very inspiration that keeps me going.

Hearing people’s stories has always helped me understand the world on a deeper level. This podcast is my way of sharing those conversations more widely, because behind every project and every effort to protect our planet, there is a human story that illuminates the work in a way no abstract idea ever could. Each episode runs for around twenty to thirty minutes. Guests tell us their journey, how they came to do the work they do, what drives them, and the challenges they’ve faced along the way. And we look ahead: what gives them hope, what excites them about the future, and what they believe we should all be paying attention to as we work toward a more nature-positive world.

My hope is that these conversations will reveal the human stories behind the work being done, inspire action, and spark new ideas and possibilities for everyone listening. I also hope to bridge different worlds, from research to business and creative people, connecting communities that are working toward the shared vision of biodiverse ecosystems. And, of course, I really love meeting new people.

The intro episode is now available, and I will not be so strict on the upload schedule for the time being, since I have lots of other projects. I would be so pleased if you listened, shared it with others, and joined me on this journey. If you want to contribute, or have any comments or feedback, I would love to chat with you! I can’t wait to see where these stories take us next!

Thanks again to everyone who has encouraged me along the way. A very special thanks to Kanishka Madanayake at Nordiq Studio for the cover art and photography, and Cem Kahyali (@cemvegas) for producing the intro and outro music.
