I’m an internationally experienced biodiversity scientist and independent consultant who delights in the journey, sharing discoveries, and aiming to make a positive impact along the way. I have a background in research exploring how insects deliver ecosystem functions and services, from primary tropical rainforests in Borneo to agricultural pastures in New Zealand. I love science communication and enjoy working on creative projects. I am energised by learning through travelling, meeting new people, and creative problem-solving.
Biodiversity is central to sustainability. I deliver tailored consultancy services to clients with a special focus on nature-based solutions, ecosystem services and business and biodiversity. These topics are also available as educational workshops and speaking sessions for special interest groups and organisations. Whether you're looking for an accessible introduction or a customised deep dive. Please see my services.
I am passionate about taking action and finding solutions that have great impact on science and society. Biodiversity matters now more than ever, and I think we need more stories from people doing the work. The Biodiversity Impact podcast is my way of starting conversations with scientists, entrepreneurs, sustainability experts and creators who are working towards a nature-positive future for people, planet and profit. I hope that by having these conversations we can find new and creative opportunities to connect and work together to have a positive biodiversity impact. I think we owe it to the future generations.
